Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser in a Lighting store, your roles and responsibilities may include the following :

3. Sales and Promotion : Actively engage with customers, build rapport, and promote products to drive sales. Utilize persuasive techniques to highlight the benefits and features of different lighting options.

4. Consultation : Provide personalized consultation to customers by assessing their requirements, understanding their budget, and recommending appropriate lighting solutions. Help customers make informed decisions by addressing their concerns and offering expert advice.

5. Demonstrations and Installations : Conduct demonstrations of lighting fixtures, including turning lights on/off, adjusting brightness, and showcasing various lighting effects. Assist customers with installation instructions or coordinate installation services if provided by the store.

6. Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels, update product displays, and ensure availability of stock. Collaborate with the management team to reorder products, track sales performance, and provide input on popular or discontinued items.

7. Customer Service : Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the shopping experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues or complaints. Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to the store’s policies.

8. Store Maintenance : Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing. Arrange lighting fixtures, maintain product labels and pricing accuracy, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts to attract customers.

9. Up-selling and Cross-selling : Identify opportunities to recommend complementary lighting products or accessories that enhance the customer’s purchase. Offer suggestions for additional lighting solutions, such as bulbs, dimmers, or smart home integration.

10. Product Training : Attend training sessions organized by the store or lighting manufacturers to enhance your knowledge of new products, technologies, and industry standards. Stay informed about energy-efficient lighting options and their benefits.
