The qualifications to become an ilaw atbp. franchisees must complete all required documentation, be financially capable of the franchise fee, be willing to comply with ilaw atbp.’s standard operating procedures, and actively participate in their promotions.

The franchisee is responsible for processing the permits needed to operate, such as but not limited to :
• Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Registration for Single
   Proprietorship/ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
   Registration for Corporation
• Mayor’s Business Permit Barangay Clearance
• Fire and Comprehensive General Liability Insurance
• Certificate of Electrical Inspection

While the franchisee is responsible for securing a location in their assigned area, the site is also subject to assessment, inspection, and approval by the ilaw atbp : franchising group and the management team.

There are two (2) options :
1. The franchisee may opt to handle the construction. However, design and plans must be aligned with ilaw atbp.’s standards.
2. The company can provide construction services. The cost of which will depend on the store’s floor area.

The duration of the store construction can vary depending on several factors (location, size, complexity of the design, permitting process, availability of construction materials, efficiency of the construction team, etc.). This can take anywhere from an estimated 30-90 days.

This will depend on the floor area, but the franchisor will provide a list of initial stocks and inventory composition that each store must carry before opening. Complete details will be included in the initial meeting and franchise operation training.

The Standard Operating Hours of an ilaw atbp. store is 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Mondays to Saturdays. Franchisees have the option to operate on Sundays as well.

Training is held at the main office, in select branches, or identified training venues near the franchise store.

• Cashier’s Training – 7 Days
• Training for Staff/Merchandisers – 14 Days
